Handwoven tea towels and napkins

We offer two collections of tea towels. Our organic, fairtrade handwoven range has fabrics with bold stripes in earthy natural colours - its soft textures make them a pleasure to use and will brighten your home and your table.

I have joined forces with the Paris label Diama to create these subtle striped colour combinations in sumptuous and authentic organic cotton.

Our solid colour napkins, in blue, peachy orange, sand yellow, grey and ecru are woven in a mixture of linen and cotton; those with a double stripe are 100% organic cotton, as are our tea towels.

Our guest, or kitchen towels are made using hand-spun cotton thread, a rare process, giving the woven cotton towel a uniquely richly textured appearance and tactile appeal. Hand-woven in Senegal, the collection is organic, with certified ecological plant dyes and is fairtrade. 

Our Iraklio collection of tea towels has been woven to our designs by a lovely small, family business just outside Heraklion in Crete.

Textiles are part of the Greek heritage and although Katerina, owner of the business, trained as an engineer - she couldn’t help herself, as soon as she graduated she decided to change her career plans and take over the weaving business from her parents.
