Tea Towels

Tea towels that are a pleasure to use and good enough to leave on display. We offer two distinct ranges, both made in small batches by partners we have worked with for years.

Our organic cotton tea towels are fair-trade and hand-woven in Senegal using natural plant dyes, in bold stripes and earthy tones. One design, inspired by Pierre Bonnard's palette, was originally commissioned by Tate Modern. Our hand-woven guest towels use rare hand-spun cotton for a richly textured finish.

Our Iraklio tea towels are woven to our designs in Crete by Katerina's family-run company, in bright Mediterranean stripes. The cotton comes from Greece and Turkey and half of it is recycled. They are generously sized at 70cm x 50cm after their first wash.

All tea towels wash at 40°C, and are shipped from France with tracked delivery across the EU and the UK.
