Sue Ure Maison offers two equally design-led tableware collections. The sleek and crisp Ambit Collection is made in black and white porcelain. This collection is slip cast - allowing for larger product runs - but is nonetheless very much a hand-crafted product with every fine slip line meticulously painted by hand.
New to the website, from Sue’s own pottery workshop, is the ColourPop Studio Collection. These larger pieces are all thrown on the potter's wheel and then decorated using liquid-coloured clay. The same technique is used for the decoration of the Ambit range.
The two collections, though made using different methods in different countries clearly share the same modernist design themes and careful attention to detail and making processes.
