A charming small black jug, ideal for milk with a pot of tea for two or cream over a fruit salad. Handsome enough to use as a mini vase.

Its streamlined conical form is pleasing to hold and pour, and fits easily in the fridge or cupboard. A hand-drawn coloured line separates the glossy glaze from the tactile matt black below. Pair it with the medium black jug.

Origin

Designed by Sue in her studio in south-west France, where every Ambit shape begins as a prototype thrown on her potter's wheel. A mould is made from her final piece, and the range is then made in small batches by a family-run, solar-powered workshop in Sri Lanka, with every line drawn by hand. Read about their switch to solar power.

Dishwasher and microwave safe.
