DESCRIPTION
Style at its most streamlined. Inspired by the clean lines and bold simplicity of mid-century design, these white porcelain mugs and bowls each have a hand-painted line that wraps around the curved surface.
The mugs' round handles are shaped for comfort. A calm, timeless set for your own table, or a thoughtful gift for someone who appreciates good design.
Product details
- Includes: two Ambit white deep bowls (15.5cm x 6.8cm, 550ml) and two Ambit white wide mugs (7.3cm x 9.5cm, 195ml)
- Set price is less than buying the four pieces individually
Materials
Fine porcelain. Each piece is glazed inside and partly outside, with an unglazed matt section that adds a lovely tactile and visual contrast.
Origin
Designed by Sue in her studio in south-west France, where every Ambit shape begins as a prototype thrown on her potter's wheel. A mould is made from her final piece, and the range is then made in small batches by a family-run, solar-powered workshop in Sri Lanka, with every line drawn by hand. Read about their switch to solar power.
Care
Dishwasher and microwave safe.
