Our tall black tea or coffee mug is a beautiful, sophisticated product, adding a touch of elegance to all your cups of tea and coffee throughout the day.
This tall, elegant mug is just as good for herbal infusions, hot chocolate or latte and is a pleasure to use. The elegant design of our tall black mug coordinates with a classic or contemporary-styled home and will enhance any kitchen or table setting.
A hand-drawn line in white porcelain slip decorates the outside of the tall black mug, marking the dividing line between the glaze on the upper half of the tall cup and the lovely matt texture of the bottom half which has no glaze.
The tall mug has a fine round handle finished with a small button detail and is comfortable in your hand. The base is embossed with our logo and identifies the mug as an exclusive designer product, created by our small independent UK company. As a gift for yourself, or as a gift to friends, our luxury black ceramic mug is a product created for longevity.
This thoughtfully designed mug will bring an extra element of pleasure to all your hot drinks - latte, chocolate, or tea. Our cup is crafted in black high-fired ceramic, making it a robust and resilient product that combined with its design quality will mean you can continue to enjoy using our tall black mug in your home for years to come.
The prototypes of all our Ambit tableware collection of mugs, tumblers and cups are created by me, Sue, hand thrown on the potter’s wheel in my pottery studio. I make lots of different mugs in stoneware and in porcelain, modifying the product design - the shape, decoration, size, material and thickness - before deciding which is the perfect coffee or tea mug that I want to send to my manufacturer.
A mould will then be created from my handmade item in order to make the product in greater, though still limited, quantity. The size and shape of the tall black mug one that I find perfect for drinks that I want to stay warm longer. All our Ambit tableware products are delivered to you rapidly from our UK fulfilment centre.

- All tableware and table mats have protective product boxing. However these boxes will be packed into larger and when we can, recycled boxes for postage.Delivery is by Royal Mail or DHL Mail. All purchases have tracking and UK purchases should arrive in two to three working days. We currently only ship to addresses in the UK.We do not offer express delivery.Please don’t worry when making your purchase - when you are buying an item where you have made a colour choice from a drop down menu, your purchase confirmation will display the correct colour in writing, but will display the colour of the main photo of the article, which may not be the one you’ve chosen. You will get the colour you’ve asked for!
