Ambit Rainbow Launch

January always seems to stretch out, making it feel like a marathon compared to other months, and this holds true even in the midst of a bustling period for many businesses.
We were proud to show our Ambit tableware range at Top Drawer in London, one of the UK's most prestigious trade fairs. Additionally, we secured a modest presence at Milano Home, the major design-led Italian trade fair, participating as part of a UK pavilion. Presenting our still-growing Ambit collection at such events holds significant importance for us. While emails can convey information, the impact of allowing buyers to appreciate a display and physically interact with the pieces is incomparable.
Although we have been regular exhibitors at Top Drawer for numerous years under our studio brand Sue Ure Ceramics; featuring a stand primarily dedicated to the Ambit range feels like entering the exhibition scene for the first time. Without the established history associated with the brand or collection, buyers may not have a pre-existing connection. Therefore, we were thrilled to connect with new buyers, establishing fresh relationships, and reconnecting with those who were previously customers of Sue Ure Ceramics. Their enthusiasm for Ambit was palpable, and they were eager to incorporate it into their shops.
We are delighted to announce that our longstanding partners, Little Blue Budgie in Totnes, Courtyard Gallery in Cumbria, and Previous Homewares in Corsham, are now official Ambit stockists. Additionally, we extend a warm welcome to our new partners, The Silver Pear in Ludlow and from April, Mainstreet Trading in the Scottish Borders.
In the meantime, thank goodness we’ve got to the end of January. Roll on February and let’s look forward to spring and enjoy its signs of new growth and its rainbows as well as enjoying Ambit’s own new Rainbow designs.
